CLASSROOM IMPLEMENTATION
The students of the 21st century need skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and the ability to work, study, and thrive in interdisciplinary fields. Therefore, the 21st century teachers must address these skills by integrating the knowledge within conservative and modern software in order to develop competent, educated, and introspective citizens. Furthermore the present and future society requires much problem solving and creative qualities from its members and this can be achieved through early technology implementation of the proposed plan in schools.
The following chart lists the recommended technologies to bring your students up to speed in all areas of today's important skills and suggests implementation dates along with start-up activities to help integrate them into your curriculum. Please note that implementation dates may vary, depending on the existing technological know-how your class possesses (or not). Please adjust accordingly. This chart assumes the class is already participating at many different levels, though averaging on a high level of understanding.
